Saints, Snakes and Sr. Santos: The Stories Behind the Designs

· His Story

Many of our designs carry Spanish words or the names of Arcángel's albums. If you don't speak Spanish, here's what they mean, translated plainly, with nothing added.

What does Sr. Santos mean?

Sr. Santos means "Mr. Santos": his family name, and the title of his 2022 album, made as a tribute to his brother Justin. Santos also means "saints", which is why it fits a collection full of them.

In the shop: Sr. Santos Archangel puts the name in red blackletter over a winged warrior with a sword and scales. Respetado Sr. Santos Bible shows a book marked Sr. Santos between two doves, above the line Respetado como un verso bíblico, "respected like a Bible verse".

What does Pídanme la bendición mean?

It means "ask me for the blessing". In the Caribbean, asking an elder for la bendición is an everyday greeting.

In the shop: Pidanme la Bendicion prints the line in rough hand-drawn capitals under a winged figure and four baby angels.

What is Sentimiento, Elegancia y Más Maldad?

"Feeling, elegance and more wickedness". It's the title of his 2023 album, which looks back to his 2013 album Sentimiento, Elegancia & Maldad.

In the shop: Sentimiento Elegancia Snake sets a striking green serpent above ARCANGEL in rose-red gothic letters, with the full title underneath.

The other Spanish lines

  • Santo Patron: "patron saint", in dotted white capitals.
  • Mi corazón roto para siempre / Pero mi mente más fuerte que nunca: "my heart broken forever / but my mind stronger than ever", on Heart and Mind Scales.

And the rest

Sacred hearts, snakes, a reaper, and bold streetwear graphics fill out the shop. Every design is printed to order on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
